Institutional Text (<100 words) The Telesca Scientific Research Institute (IRST) is a non-profit Research and Technology Organisation (RTO) based in Potenza, Italy, dedicated to bioengineering and deep-tech innovation. IRST develops autonomous AI-driven medical devices, with a focus on energy harvesting technology for implantable cardiac devices. Founder Antonio Telesca is the inventor of 2 granted Italian patents (UIBM) and 3 patent applications. The Institute adheres to Open Science principles and FAIR data management standards.
