The Telesca Scientific Research Institute (IRST) is a Research and Knowledge Dissemination Organisation (RTO) dedicated to Bioengineering and Deep-Tech. With a portfolio of 5 proprietary patents, our mission is to develop autonomous medical solutions.

Flagship Project

Our flagship project is an AI-driven bio-autonomous micro-pacemaker. It uses a patented energy harvesting technology to power the device directly from the human body, integrated with artificial intelligence for real-time cardiac management.

Research Organisation under EU Law

IRST is qualified as a Research and Knowledge Dissemination Organisation per the European Commission Communication 2014/C 198/01 (Framework for State Aid for R&D&I), Art. 1.3(ee). The Institute operates on a non-profit basis and fully reinvests its revenues in research and dissemination activities.
